\ sign not displaying

How do I get to display \ sign on my webpage?

During the creation of a webpage \ sign is showed but after the page has been saved \ isn't displayed in the saved page. Why?

Can anyone help me sort this out?

Manage extras > add extra > select 'Board-Sinature' > edit the options > save.
After saving the page, you will see BBcode and HTML code of signature.
You should paste the HTML code (the code in the second box!) to the 'Text at bottom of page' box in the 'edit design' page. So the signature works in your website.
