How do i get rid of writing on front?

when i open my page to have a look at it, all i see on the front is Hi, you can edit this page on the main website and stuf like that. How do i get rid of it and put else there?

manage pages and select the homepage and there u'll see ur text that u want 2 delete ....in that edit box...u can add here ur text/pictures/video/flash/html codes/rss news etc ....also don't forget if u wnat to add some html codes like embeded one's choose the "source " button and after it paste ur code....well hope i've helped u somehow....bye
