HTML editor doesn't appear for editing

Hi!
The HTML editor doesn't appear when a page is selected for editing.
The wheel rotates and stops. I had no problem till 3 months back.
Currently Firefox 12.0 is used and the browser history is completely erased.
Whatever be the speed I could edit pages till 3 months back.
Please help find the "HTML" editor otherwise I could not update pages as & when changes take place in messages posted.

please test your internet speed (www.speedtest.net/), you should have a minimun speed of 0,5 megabytes/s. Please take a look at this:

Please see wich version of Java you have and update it if needed.
Try diferent Browsers.
After you select a subpage to edit, press f5 until you see the html editor.
