Multiple pictures in banner

Hi I uploaded a picture to put in my banner but it has been duplicated right across the page ....any suggestions please ?

The reason why your gif files and logos do NOT work:
After choosing the picture, you should deactivate 'Downsize the pictures'! If you do NOT, your gifs, headers and logos do NOT work!
